Stained Glass Whiting Powder

A finely ground, naturally occurring Calcium Carbonate, 98% pure. Balance of components, silica or magnesium. As used in better grade glazing compounds or for cleanup after glazing.

Instructions

Leaded Glass Cleanup: Sprinkle dry over entire surface. Rub with soft cloth or stiff soft-bristled brush. Wipe Clean.

If putty is too soft: Take golf ball sized putty in palm of hand and knead by rolling back and forth into a ball. Putty should be kneaded until warm/body temp. Drop into whiting container or roll in whiting on countertop/work surface until ball is coated. Repeat kneading process to incorporate whiting powder into putty. Putty should stiffen up a bit. Repeat as needed until putty is desired consistency.
